Craftcation 2013 Wrap Up

So perhaps I didn't stress this enough last year when I came back from an amazing few days at the very first Craftcation Conference - here is the brief wrap up post & Project Life post. If you've never taken my advice before, this is the time to maybe reconsider. Every single one of you creative folks reading this right now should seriously mark your calendar for next March. I know it sounds like a bossy order, but you can thank me in person at the event next year. Craftcation is honestly one of the most amazing gatherings I have ever attended. Nicole and Delilah, founders of Patchwork, do a FANTASTIC job with events and I would back them on any endeavor they allowed me to be a part of. I had the pleasure of teaching classes both last year and this year. This was the 2nd time the event was being held in Ventura, a fantastic town just an hour north of Los Angeles. People flew in from various parts - some traveling as far as Texas, Florida and even halfway around the world from Switzerland! There were awesome speakers, DIY workshops, business seminars (not the boring kind, my friends), a pop-up shop, book signings and the most creative attendees. The Ventura County Star wrote up a nice little article with my picture on the front (nevermind that I look really tired!).

Here are some sweet event photos from the talented Matthew William:

Really hope to see some of you there next year!!
